I did it!

Fastest draw in the west… was slightly delayed, because I kept on hitting refresh and didn’t realise that the page had been updated… I was rather disapointed in my self, and failure was prominent in the mind. But a quick auto fill, and cut an paste the rest, made random decision that I wanted the t-shirt, but not the polo, and that I didn’t get tickets to the meal, because I was sure I could purchase later. Here I come Kepler…

OH CRAP!! What have I got myself into. Can’t turn back once entered

Better go transfer the entry fee, $205 plus t-shirt, not bad compared to other events that shall remain nameless, that make this seem like chicken feed.

p.s. Kepler now has its own category in my blog, making it special :)

Yes, I did. I just can’t seem to sleep past 5:30am. And I wanted to find out sooner rather than later how you got on with your entry. So here I am, logged onto the Internet checking out the activity.

Bloody awesome – three out of three, that’s not bad for a tough entry process! I’m still getting over the long drive to Te Anau last time – can I face 16 hours of driving in one weekend again?! :D

Thats my next mission, working out the logistics of getting there and where to stay. Haven’t really thought much about it, getting in was the priority. And I’ll probably be going by myself, as I don’t think Eamon will be able to take the time of work. But thinking flying to Queenstown, and hiring a car or bus to go the rest of the way might be the best option, if it ain’t that expensive.

If you’re going on your own, then definitely go for what will have least impact on the bod! Driving for several hours the day before or whatever certainly takes its toll, and we made heaps of stops so Graham could have walking breaks. And that made the trip even longer!!

Nadia you could always stay with me – I went on my own last time and it was awful. I’ve already got a 3 bedroom house booked – Rach did you manage to get one the of police houses??? If not Nadia, we could all get togeather afterwards? Bring your wetsuit Rach and have a practice in the lake
